January:
Brilliant Run - 8km (1st tune-in race before full marathon main race)
Originally thought it was a 10km race, but end up with 8km only, break my own record that never participated in any race below 10km.
February:
Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon - 42.195km
Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon is the best among all the Standard Chartered Marathon that I have participated. This is not my main race, but end up with good result, the cold weather did help.
Bangi Perdana Run - 10km (2nd tune-in race before full marathon main race)
It is worth to attend, entry fee is RM10, after race have free breakfast and lucky draw, but the finishers medal only for top 30.
March:
Bareno Run - 10km (3rd tune-in race before full marathon main race)
Take part 10km race in order to increase my speed.
Green Run - 15km (4th tune-in race before full marathon main race)
10km race turn out to be 15km. I run to a wrong route halfway and force to make a u-turn, after that no mood to continue run already.
April:
Energizer Night Race - 11km (5th tune-in race before full marathon main race)
First time rank top 10, also with 04:14pace, very satisfied with the speed and result.
May:
4th Borneo International Marathon - 42.195km (Full marathon main race)
Lemon flavored 100 plus, not fresh bananas and hot sun should be the major factor of my failure.
June:
New Balance Pacesetters - 15km
Great morning, cool breeze blowing, the route is very flat too.
July:
33rd Gold Coast Airport Marathon - 42.195km
Gold Coast Airport Marathon is full of pro runners, a very high level race. First 28km, I maintain in 05:00pace, a lot of female white people cross me, no need to mention about the male runners.
Men’s Health & Shape Night Run - 12.3km
Rest period, less training, normal performance.
August:
adidas King of the Road - 16.8km
First serious injury, a sprained on left knee ligament. Forced to give up the race.
September:
Run For It 5 - 12km
Just recovered from injury, not too force, finish is enough.
Siemens Run - 10km
Change to a Brooks running shoes, left knee no more pain after using it.
October:
adidas King of the Road - 16.8km
Most satisfied race after my left knee injury recovered, began to restore some confidence.
2nd Putrajaya Night Marathon - 42.195km
Bad full marathon result again. Analyze the reasons of failure may be running too fast in the beginning. Cross the finish line together with LiNg KiNg KeoNg.
PJ Half Marathon - 21km
First half marathon of the year, the result is very satisfied.
November:
CICM Responsible Care Run - 21km
First time cross the finish line together with michael_wilson, but unfortunately has not been photographed. Last few hundred meters right knee have a little pain.
Allianz Penang Bridge International Marathon - 42.195km
The worst full marathon ever, unable to finish. Start having bad situation after 15km.
December:
Larian Lasak Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam - 8km
12km race turn out to be 8km, some more need to run off road, made my whole legs dirty. See doctor a week later, my right knee ligament proved injured seriously.
Summary:
This year took part in 19 individual race, 1 cannot finish, 1 cannot start.

Before year end of 2010 I already know my weakness is on speed, so I do a lot of speed training on the first half of 2011, but unfortunately my full marathon race still not stable, yet to break the 330 door.
August till the end of the year experienced two serious ligament injuries, also start to suspect it is my previous two years hardworking over training side effects. Shoes problem? Running style problem? I have been thinking hard about how to make myself injury free so that I can continue my running dream over and over again. I still want to run longer, cannot afford to fall so soon.
Fortunately, I learned how to swim during this injury period, really appreciate 卧虎藏龙, chaucky and Shirley’s teachings. This may be my greatest achievement this year.
Lets the bad things follow 2011 went past, looking forward to a better tomorrow in 2012.
